A child is shot and injured by the light rail’s guard and another gets arrested
The 12-year old Ali Ihab Hasan Ali was injured after being shot by the light rail’s guard while the 14-year old Mouawya Ahmad Hasan was arrested under the pretext of carrying out a stabbing attack inside the light rail in the settlement of Pisgat Zi’ev north of the city of Jerusalem. Wadi Hilweh Information Center-Silwan was informed that Ali was transferred to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital for treatment; his injury was described as critical. According to the information available to the center, the 14-year old Mouawya is a resident of Beit Hanina while Ali is a resident of Shu’fat refugee camp.
