Silwan: Calling a girl and her brother for interrogation and arresting three young men

The occupation forces arrested on Wednesday early morning three young Jerusalemite men from the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan while a girl and her brother were called for interrogation. Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, explained that the occupation forces called the 15-year old Aya Abu Mayaleh and her brother Azmi for interrogation at O’z police center in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber. The occupation forces had raided the house of Abu Mayaleh family in the neighborhood of Batn Al-Hawa in Silwan on Tuesday night and assaulted and beat young men. Azmi Abu Mayaleh lost consciousness and was transferred to the hospital for treatment while the forces arrested his brother Mohammad and released him after several hours of interrogation. The forces also arrested three Jerusalemites on Wednesday early morning from the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan. Abu Asab explained that the detained are: Malek Shweiki, Mohammad Naser and Muntaser Salaymeh. Abu Asab also pointed out that the forces arrested the 21-year old Narmeen Rabah Abu Meizar on Tuesday and released her after interrogating her. Extensions of arrest… On the other hand, lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the Magistrate judge extended on Tuesday the arrest of Ahmad Abu Qalbein until 26/11/2015, Mohammad Tufaha until 17/11/2015, Mahdi Abu Diab until 29/11/2015 and Ibrahim Abulhawa until 9/12/2015. The judge decided to release the minor Mohammad Hatem Abulhawa with a 300-NIS bail, house-arrest for 3 days and a third-party bail of 5 thousand NIS. The police released the 17-year old As’ad Murad Dari, 17-year old Sami Zuheir Khatib, 16-year old Mohammad Abdel Halim Dari and the 15-year old Anas Ali Abu Asab. The judge also extended the arrest of Mohammad Suleiman and Amjad Salaymeh until 16/2/2016 and Baha’ Sumrein until 17/11/2015. Rashad Abu Rmeileh was released without any conditions. The young man Mohammad Mustafa was presented to the Magistrate judge and a session was scheduled for him on 17/11/2015; he is not detained.
