An order to seize and demolish the family house of Martyr Baha’ Alayan
November 12, 2015

The Commander of Internal Front in the occupation army issued an order on Thursday to demolish and seize the family house of Baha’ Mohammad Alayan in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber. The Martyr’s family house is located in a 3-storey building (2nd floor) with a total area of 130 square meters and resides 8 individuals; it has been built 15 years ago. The order is based on the emergency law and the occupation authorities claim that this decision is necessary to deter Jerusalemites and prevent them from carrying out similar attacks. Martyr Baha’ Alayan Martyrs Baha’ Alayan and Bilal Abu Ghanem carried out a dual attack (shooting and stabbing) in an Israeli bus on 13/10/2015 in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber which led to the death of three Israeli and injury of several others. The occupation authorities are still detaining the body of Alayan along with 11 other Martyrs and refuse to release them in order to be buried under the pretext of “reducing the attacks against Israelis in the city of Jerusalem in particular and other areas in general”. According to the Israeli authorities, detain the bodies will also act as a deterrent to others and leads to a decline in the desire of wanting to do similar attacks.
