Suppressing a sit-in requesting the release of Martyrs’ bodies…the occupation continues to detain the bodies of 12 Martyrs that passed away in Jerusalem
November 14, 2015

A march launched in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber on Friday to request the release of Martyrs’ bodies detained by the occupation authorities. The march toured the streets of the village and upon reaching the village’s entrance which is closed with cement blocks, the occupation forces surrounded the participants with old people among them and fired sound grenades and tear-gas canisters towards them to prevent the peaceful march from moving forward. During the march, participants raised Palestinian flags and pictures of the Martyrs. In terms of the main requests of the locals of Jabal Al-Mukabber, they were written on a poster during the march. They are:

  • Releasing the Martyrs’ bodies to bury them according to the religious rites.
