The injury of 7 children with rubber bullets and suffocation in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber
The occupation forces suppressed last Wednesday a march organized in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber on the first anniversary of the Martyrdom of Odai and Ghassan Abu Jamal. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation forces suppressed the march using live bullets, sound grenades, tear-gas canisters and rubber bullets while young men responded with throwing stones and firecrackers at the occupation forces stationed at the entrance of the village. Witnesses confirmed that one Special Forces person fired live bullets directly towards the young men. As a result, violent clashes broke out in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber between young men and occupation forces who raided the Schools’ Street and fired tear-gas canisters towards “Sakhnin” school and other girls’ schools as well as residential houses in the area. Odai and Ghassan had carried out a “stabbing and shooting” attack in a synagogue in West Jerusalem on the 18th of last November that led to the death of 6 Israelis. Mohammad Bashir, spokesman of Nouran paramedics society, explained that 7 people were injured during clashes in Jabal Al-Mukabber. The injured were between 16-18 years old and all injuries were minor. Four injuries were with rubber bullets including an injury under the neck, three in the limbs (legs) and three suffocation cases.
