Arresting 5 Jerusalemites…tax authorities and municipality crews raid Silwan
The occupation police arrested on Thursday morning five Jerusalemites. Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, explained that the occupation forces arrested the child Mustafa Abu Sneineh from the Old City of Jerusalem, Ayoub Idkeidek from the neighborhood of Wadi Al-Joz, Nader Adawein and his son Odai from Shu’fat refugee camp and Mahmoud Obeid from the village of Esawyeh. Releasing two women On the other hand, the occupation police at Maale Adomim station released on Wednesday two women after detaining them for more than 5 hours. The women explained to Wadi Hilweh Information Center that they were arrested at the entrance of Maale Adomim settlement after the guard stationed at the gate stopped their vehicle and checked their IDs. They added that they were arrested and transferred to the police center for no reason; one policeman assaulted and hit them and handcuffed them. They also explained that the police released them with no conditions after issuing a 500-NIS traffic ticket under the pretext of “jamming traffic”. Raiding Silwan Joint crews from municipality, police and tax authorities raided the neighborhoods of Ein Al-Lozeh and Bi’er Ayoub in Silwan and stormed into several residential stores to check their files.
