Arrests…extensions of arrests…prison sentence…and releases
The occupation forces arrested on Monday 6 Jerusalemites and extended the arrest of several others. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation forces arrested on Monday the 16-year old Abdullah Maswadeh, 15-year old Mohammad Khaled Al-Qaq and the child Amir Al-Bibi from the neighborhood of Al-Shayah, and Obada Dandis and Louai Dandis from the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan, and Mohammad Zakaria Abu Khdeir from Shu’fat north of Jerusalem. Calls for interrogation The Israeli police called the Jerusalemite activist and member of follow-up committee in the village of Esawyeh, Mohammad Abu Hummos, for interrogation for two hours on charges of incitement. Abu Hummos explained that the police requested him for interrogation Al-Maskobyeh police center in West Jerusalem. The interrogation was focused on the events and clashes in the village of Esawyeh and Martyrdom of Fadi Alloun and the interrogator threatened to open several cases against him in the Israeli departments and authorities. The police also arrested on Sunday Jadallah Rajabi from Silwan and accused him of incitement in Silwan. He was released on condition of house-arrest for 5 days and deportation from his house in Silwan for 15 days. Prison sentence The Magistrate judge sentenced on Monday Eid Shabaneh for a 50-hour course and a 750 NIS fine; the decision was made not to convict him. The judge also sentenced Mohammad Shallodi for 10 months of actual imprisonment, a suspended probation of 6 months for three years, and a 4-thousand NIS fine. Extensions of arrest In a related matter, lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of Jibril Al-A’war until 24/11/2015; Ali Sayyad, Mohammad Mahmoud and Ibrahim Shweiki until completing the legal procedures against them; Malek Shweiki, Mohammad Naser, Muntaser Salameh, Fadi Atyeh, Odai Dari, Odai Da’ajneh, Ahmad Adawein and Anas Abu Mayaleh until 26/11/2015; Eyad Jandal and Malek Shqeir until 25/11/2015. The judge also extended the arrest of the child Adham Obeid until 10/12/2015 until the so-called “conduct officer” releases his report to discuss the possibility of releasing him with a bail. Also, the District Judge extended the arrest of Baha’ Aweisat until 13/1/2016, Ahmad Abu Sharkh until 24/12/2015; Jihad Zaghal and Hasan Khalfawi until 21/1/2015; Omar Halawani until 25/1/2016; Majd Darwish until 11/2/2015 and Omar Najjar until 21/1/2016. Releases The judge decided to release the child Suhaib Al-A’war with a 2500-NIS bail and open house-arrest. The judge also released on Sunday night the 12-year old Mohammad Samer Sarhan, 13-year old Hasan Abdullah Abbasi and 13-year old Emran Amer Abu Sbeih on condition of house-arrest for 5 days, a 1000-NIS bail and a third-party bail for each. The judge also decided to release Taher Sarhan with a 1000-NIS bail, house-arrest for 5 days and a third-party bail. The police released on Sunday the 12-year old Amer Walid Abdelrazzak and his 15-year old brother Tamer; they were arrested from outside their home in Silwan. A session was held for the children Sufian Abulhawa, Mohammad Samir Abulhawa and Daoud Abulhawa and another session was scheduled for them on 29/12/2015; it is noteworthy that the children are under house-arrest.
