In pictures: Arresting a student from Silwan under the pretext of “possession of a knife”
The occupation forces arrested a student on Sunday noon from Silwan under the pretext of “possession of a knife”.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the student is the 15-year old Manar Majdi Abdel Majid Shweiki.
The information center also explained that the student was wearing her school uniform and was sitting in the neighborhood of Wadi Hilweh in Silwan. The soldiers surrounded the girl, searched her and took her to one of the settlement outposts in the neighborhood where she was precisely searched.
The center added that the occupation soldiers arrested her under the pretext of “possession of a knife” and prevented the locals from approaching her.
Occupation forces fired sound grenades in the area to keep the locals away from the girl and also seized cell phones from some young men and deleted the pictures of searching the girl; they also deleted the a video for the Information Center documenting abusing the girls during the arrest.
One child was injured by shrapnel of a sound grenade during the arrest of Shweiki.
