Raiding the Martyr Omar Iskafi’s house and taking its measurements
The occupation forces raided on Tuesday morning the house of Martyr Omar Yaser Iskafi in the neighborhood of Beit Hanina north of Jerusalem. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation forces surrounded the Martyr’s houses and removed the Palestinian and Islamic flags as well as the banners hung around the house and seized them; they also confiscated and damaged the Martyr’s pictures. A Special Forces’ unit along with engineers raided the Martyr’s house and detained the family members and took the measurements of the house. They also checked the inside walls and the surrounding of the house- a procedure done before issuing a demolition and confiscation order against the house. Few days after the Martyrdom of any Jerusalemite, the occupation forces deliberately raid the Martyr’s house and arrest his/her family members and take the house’s measurement part of the collective punishment policy practiced against the Martyrs’ families.
