A decision to demolish an apartment in the village of Sur Baher south of Jerusalem

The occupation authorities handed on Monday morning the citizen Mohammad Ameera an order to demolish his home in the neighborhood of Wad Al-Hummos in the village of Sur Baher south of Jerusalem. Mohammad Ameera explained that the forces raided his house in the early morning hours and handed him a decision signed by the Jerusalem Mayor, Mir Barakat. Ameera added that the occupation municipality and Ministry of Interior have been harassing him for two months after he had completing building his home and moved in; several demolition orders were issued against his home. Ameera pointed out that his apartment is 160 square meters and cost him 350 thousand NIS to build; he started building more than a year ago and recently finished and moved in. He also added that six individuals live in the apartment; himself, his wife and four children where the oldest is 11 and the youngest is one. He confirmed that he had built on his land and the municipality refused to license it.
