Demolishing an under-construction building in the village of Sur Baher
The occupation municipality’s bulldozers demolished on Tuesday morning an under-construction building in the village of Sur Baher south of Jerusalem. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that municipality crews and bulldozers supported by occupation forces raided the neighborhood of Wad Al-Hummos in the village of Sur Baher and surrounded the area. They demolished a residential building that is still under construction owned by Raed Mohammad Raja Rabay’a. Rabay’a explained that the bulldozers demolished his building without prior notice under the pretext of building without a permit; he pointed out that he started building two months ago. He also said that the building consists of two floors (three residential apartments) where the first floor is 120 square meters and the second is 240 square meters. Rabay’a pointed out that the building cost was more than 170 NIS.
