Detaining the bodies of 11 Jerusalemite Martyrs…suppressing a protest requesting the release of Martyrs’ bodies

The occupation forces suppressed on Tuesday a protest in Damascus Gate in Jerusalem requesting the release of Martyrs’ bodies detained by the occupation forces. The forces fired sound grenades in the courtyard of Damascus Gate towards a group of people participating in the protest. The forces chased the participants towards Sultan Suleiman Street and prevented them from being in the street for nearly half an hour. The forces deliberately assaulted press crews during the protest and prevented them from covering the event. The occupation authorities are still detaining the bodies of 11 Jerusalemite Martyrs. They are:

  1. Thaer Abdelsalam Abu Ghazaleh, 19, passed away on 8/10/2015, Old City of Jerusalem
  2. Mustafa Adel Khatib, 17, passed away on 12/10/2015, Jabal Al-Mukabber
  3. Hasan Khaled Manasra, 15, passed away on 12/10/2015, Beit Hanina
  4. Baha’ Mohammad Alayan, 22, passed away on 13/10/2015, Jabal Al-Mukabber
  5. Ala’ Daoud Abu Jamal, 32, passed away on 13/10/2015, Jabal Al-Mukabber
  6. Ahmad Abu Sha’ban, 23, passed away on 14/10/2015, Silwan
  7. Mutaz Aweisat, 16, passed away on 17/10/2015, Jabal Al-Mukabber
  8. Mohammad Abed Nimer, 37, passed away on 10/11/2015, Esawyeh
  9. Omar Yaser Iskafi, 21, passed away on 6/12/2015, Beit Hanina
  10. Abdel Muhsen Hassouneh, 21, passed away on 14/12/2015, Beit Hanina
  11. Mousab Mahmoud Ghazali, 24, passed away on 26/12/2015, Silwan.
