Arrests…extensions of arrest
The occupation police arrested 35-year old Wael Rajabi from inside Al-Aqsa courtyards. On the other hand, Al-Dameer organization lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of 15-year old Yousef Shweiki and 15-year old Mohammad Shweiki until next Friday on charges of “possession of knives”. The District judge extended the arrest of Manar Shweiki until 11/1/2016, Bara’ Mahmoud until 10/1/2016 and Daoud Atyeh until 7/1/2016. Lawyer Mahmoud added that the judge extended the arrest of the minors Malek Sroor, Nader Abdo, Tawfiq Abu Dheim and Ahmad Aweisat until 6/1/2016 and Islam Far’oun until 26/1/2016. The judge decided to release the minors Ghassan Asi, Mohammad Talhami and Daoud Ammouri. Also, the judge scheduled a court session for Shifa’ Shallodi on 10/2/2016. A witnesses hearing session was held for Ahmad Idais and he was acquitted from the charges against him (throwing stones and participating in an assault on Israeli police). A 750-NIS fine was imposed on him for being in areas of clashes. Another witnesses hearing session was held for Ibrahim Abu Ta’a and he was also acquitted from the charges against him (assaulting a policeman, incitement and causing damages) and was sentenced for 4 and a half months of actual imprisonment on charges of being in areas of clashes.
