Silwan: An administrative demolition order to a residential building and seizing the construction tools
The occupation municipality’s crews handed on Sunday an administrative demolition order to an under-construction residential building in the neighborhood of Al-Thori in Silwan.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation forces raided the neighborhood of Al-Thori in Silwan and handed an administrative demolition order to Mousa Mohammad Abbasi under the pretext of building without a permit.
Abbasi explained that the municipality crews handed him the demolition order against the establishment which is still under construction (first floor- basement- parking garage established four years ago, while the second floor consists of two apartments for a total area of 230 square meters and is still under construction.
Abbasi added that he attempted to obtain a building permit for years before he even built the parking garage but to no avail as the municipality claims that the land is planned to be turned into a parking garage; he pointed out that he bought the land from its previous owners 8 years ago and has all the official documents to prove that.
He added that the municipality crews seized electric building tools worth nearly 4 thousand NIS under the pretext of building and working without a permit.
