Arrests…extensions of arrest…releases

The occupation forces arrested on Monday afternoon the child Khalil Naser from the village of Esawyeh. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation forces arrested on Monday morning Mahmoud Awni Atyeh and Hamada Mohammad Hareez from the village of Esawyeh. In a related matter, the Magistrate judge released on Sunday the 13-year old Harbi Rajabi from Silwan with a 500-NIS bail and house-arrest for 5 days as explained by lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud. Harbi’s father explained that the forces arrested his son when he was near his uncle’s bakery in Silwan. Despite his young age and having diabetes, his father was not allowed to attend the interrogation and the forces refused to give him his necessary medication even though he told them about his disease and the need to medicine. Harbi’s father also explained that the police accused his son of slashing the tires of settlers’ vehicles in Silwan. The public prosecution submitted on Sunday an indictment against Mohammad Yaghmour and Omar Burqan to the District court; the house-arrest imposed on them has been extended. The judge also extended the arrest of Manar Shweiki until completing the legal procedures against her. Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud added that the judge extended the arrest of Yaser Abu Rmeileh until 27/1/2016. A prosecutor’s permit was also presented to submit an indictment against Mohannad Mahmoud from the village of Esawyeh and the judge extended his arrest until 28/1/2016. Ahmad Abu Diab and Mohamamd Dwayyat were also presented to the District judge who decided not to extend the administrative arrest imposed on them. The judge extended the arrest of Omar Halawni until 14/3/2016 which is when the so-called “conduct officer” will release his report. Eyad Shalabi was also presented to the judge and a session has been scheduled for him on 4/5/2016. On the other hand, the District judge sentenced Badawi Abu Asab for 26 months of actual imprisonment, a 10-thousand NIS fine and a suspended probation of 10 months for three years. Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the Magistrate judge decided to release the two minors Nidal Bazlameet and Mohammad Risheq as well as Louai Abu Hummos without any conditions. He added that the judge extended the arrest of Rami Mheisen until 7/2/2016, and the prosecution submitted an indictment against Majd Halawani and the judge extended his arrest until 4/2/2016 when the “conduct officer” releases his report. The judge also extended the arrest of Wisam Castero until 8/2/2016. The prosecution also submitted an indictment to the District Court against the minors Ala’ Salah and Mahmoud Mheisen including charges of throwing Molotov Cocktails. The judge also extended the arrest of Midhat Obeid until 1/2/2016; Mohammad Shalabi was presented to the judge who decided not to extend the administrative arrest imposed on him which ends on 14/20/2016. The District judge extended the arrest of Jihad Zaghal, Hasan Khalfawi and Mohamamd Abu Diab until 23/2/2016, Mohammad Taha until 4/4/2016 and Mohammad Burqan until 9/2/2016. The public prosecution also submitted an indictment against the minors Ahmad Abbasi and Mohammad Burqan including charges of throwing Molotov Cocktails in Silwan; the judge extend their arrest until 11/2/2016.
