They also raided several commercial stores in Hosh Abu Tayeh looking for workers from the West Bank and established a harassing checkpoint in the neighborhood and checked vehicles and young men’s IDs.
In the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh, the forces were deployed in a provocative way and stopped and searched vehicles. Infantry units were also deployed in the neighborhood reaching the area of Batn A;-Hawa; they fired sound grenades in the area.
In the area of Umayyad Palaces near the entrance of Silwan, the forces installed cameras, stages and speakers to film a movie about antiquities as the Israeli authorities claim that the stands were built in the form of a track and was called “Biblical Path for the alleged temple”.
