Arresting 7 Jerusalemite children…extending the arrest of a girl
The occupation forces arrested on Thursday 7 Jerusalemite children. Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the Israeli police arrested 5 Jerusalemite children from the villages of Esawyeh, Jabal Al-Mukabber and Silwan. Some were arrested after raiding their home and others were requested for interrogation at Al-Maskobyeh police center and arrested afterwards. Lawyer Mahmoud added that the Israeli forces arrested 17-year old Nader Abdo from the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber and 16-year old Mohammad Abu Mayaleh from Silwan after raiding their homes. The 12-year old Mohammad Ali Daoud Dirbas, 12-year old Emad Tarek Sarandah and 13-year old Ahmad Awad Dirbas from the village of Esawyeh were called for interrogation. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the Israeli police also requested 12-year old Mohammad Wajdi Risheq from Silwan for interrogation; he was also interrogated four days ago. On the other hand, the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of 17-year old Asma’ Asmar until next Monday. The forces arrested on Thursday night the 17-year old Mohammad Nidal Abu Khdeir from the neighborhood of Shu’fat north of Jerusalem. The forces also arrested two young men from the village of Esawyeh under the pretext of “entering Jerusalem without a permit”; they hold West Bank IDs. Occupation forces raided on Thursday afternoon the neighborhood of Abu Rayaleh in the village of Esawyeh and randomly fired rubber bullets at the same time when students were leaving their schools.
