Silwan: the occupation raids a house and assaults the residents during clashes in the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh

The occupation forces arrested on Friday night one citizen after raiding his home in Silwan. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that clashes broke out on Friday night in the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh in Silwan and the forces arrested 47-year old Ali Abu Al-Hamam after raiding his house; they also forces store-owners to close their shops for no reason. The residents of Hosh Abu Tayeh explained that large Israeli forces were deployed in the neighborhood in a provocative way which led the breakout of clashes in which rubber bullets, sound grenades and tear-gas canisters were used. Abu Al-Hamam family explained that occupation forces individuals raided their house and assaulted the women with pushing and screaming. They also broke the windows with the butts of their guns and attempted to evacuate the women from the house by forces. Young men who heard the screaming interfered and the forces sprayed them with pepper gas and called back-up. The family added that the forces accused one of the family members of throwing paint towards them and arrested 47-year old Ali Abu Al-Hamam.
