The Martyrdom of a young man in the middle of Salah Eddin Street in Jerusalem
A Palestinian young man passed away on Tuesday after engaging in an armed clash with occupation forces in Salah Eddin Street in Jerusalem.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that an armed clash broke out between the young man and occupation police in the middle of Salah Eddin Street. According to the Israeli police, two policemen were injured during the clash; one suffered a severe injury.
Witnesses explained that the young man opened fire towards the policemen and attempted to run away but he was chased by occupation forces resulting in an armed clash where multiple shots were fired towards him and led to his Martyrdom.
Large number of occupation forces including Special Forces, police, Calvary units and police dogs were deployed in Salah Eddin Street and they stormed into several commercial stores; they forced the owners to close their shops.
Occupation forces confiscated the surveillance cameras in the area of the incident.
