Identifying the two Martyrs who passed away during an armed clash in the area of New Gate in Jerusalem

Two young Palestinian men passed away and an elderly was injured during an armed clash that took place in the area of New Gate in Jerusalem.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the two Martyrs are 19-year old Abdelmalek Saleh Abu Khroub and 21-year old Mohammad Jamal Kaloti from the neighborhood of Kufor Aqab north of Jerusalem.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that two Palestinians passed away in the area of New Gate after an armed clash broke out between them and occupation forces individuals.

The police said that they chased a vehicle with two men inside that is similar to the one that opened fire towards an “Egged” bus earlier in the morning in the settlement “Ramot” northwest of Jerusalem. When they topped the vehicle, an armed clash broke out between the two men and the police; the young men were critically injured and were announced dead afterwards.
The police also said that two young men opened fire towards an Israeli bus in the settlement of Ramot and fled the area. The police started chasing them and were able to stop and shoot them in the area of New Gate.

The police also added that one of the young men is from the neighborhood of Kufor Aqab north of Jerusalem and the other holds a Palestinian ID.

The center was informed that 56-year old Emad Abu Ali was critically injured in his head while walking in the area of New Gate during the armed clash.
