Silwan: Sentencing five Jerusalemites
The District court in Jerusalem sentenced on Wednesday five Jerusalemites from the neighborhood of Al-Thori in Silwan for periods between 16-40 months on charges of throwing stones and Molotov Cocktails; the judges also imposed a 2500-NIS fine on each of the five prisoners.
Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, explained that the District judge sentenced each of:
- Atyeh Mohammad Ghazzawi (minor)- 16 months of actual imprisonment
- Ahmad Khalil Rweidi- (minor)- 40 months of actual imprisonment
- Ibrahim Khalil Ghazzawi- 18 months of actual imprisonment
- Abdel Jawad Abdel Ghaffar Ghazzawi- 40 months of actual imprisonment
- Ahmad Abdel Afou Ghazzawi- 20 months of actual imprisonment
