Settlers attempt to provide offerings at Al-Aqsa Gates on occasion of the Jewish Passover holiday
The occupation police arrested on Friday morning three settlers that attempted to provide offering in the markets of the Old City of Jerusalem on occasion of the Jewish Passover holiday.
The police said they arrested three settlers and confiscated two goats from the settlers that they tried to offer for sacrifice on occasion of Passover holiday. The police explained in a statement that they arrested two settlers and confiscated a goat they had. They also found another goat tied in the Old City and arrested a third settler suspected to be the owner of the second goat.
Witnesses explained that one settler walked with the goat in Al-Wad Street near the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque (Al-Hadeed, Al-Qataneen and Al-Silsileh gates). Upon arrival to Al-Silsileh market and before arriving to Al-Aqsa gates, he was arrested.
The settlers’ extreme behavior comes concurrently with calls made by the “Alleged Temple groups” to offer sacrifice and celebrate Passover at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
