June 29, 2016

The occupation authorities decided on Wednesday morning to isolate four Jerusalemites from Al-Aqsa Mosque for two weeks.

Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the Israeli police decided to release lawyer Mohammad Alayan, Martyr Baha’ Alayan’s father, on condition of isolation from Al-Aqsa Mosque for 15 days and house-arrest for 5 days.

Alayan was arrested last Monday after raiding his home in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber on charges of “membership in a terrorist organization”. He was interrogated regarding the sit-in carried at Al-Aqsa Mosque last Friday in which participants requested the release of detained Martyrs’ bodies; the occupation authorities are still detaining the bodies of 8 Palestinian Martyrs in their freezers including Martyr Baha’ Alayan.

Lawyer Mahmoud added that the police released Ramzi Awadallah, Walid Rajabi, Mohammad Mizi’ro, Abed Abu Khdeir, Sabri Alayan, Ahmad Yassin and Mohammad Karim on condition of isolation from Al-Aqsa Mosque for 15 days.

The court decided on Tuesday to release Mohammad Othman (22) from Eritrea and Ihsan Jarrar on condition of isolation from Al-Aqsa for 40 days.

The judge also decided to release two British young men, Julfan Hedarkhan and Mohammad Yousef, on condition of deporting them back to their country.
