Releasing 33 Jerusalemites….isolations from Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City of Jerusalem…extensions of arrest

The occupation police released 33 Jerusalemites (mostly from Silwan) and extended the arrest of others and decided to deport two women from the Old City of Jerusalem for 4 months.

Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the judge decided to unconditionally release the minors Adam Abu Khdeir, Mahmoud Abu Khdeir and Mohammad Fayez. He also decided to release Mousa Jaber and Haron Rweidat with a 500-NIS bail and house-arrest for 7 days, and released Yousef Abbasi with a 1500-NIS bail, house-arrest for 5 days and a 5-thousand NIS third-party bail.

Lawyer Mahmoud added that the Israeli police unconditionally released Emran Amer Abu Sbeih, Mohammad Qutob, Ibrahim Dandis, Mohammad Salaymeh, Mohammad Sharaf, Sharif Abu Mayaleh, Taha Abu Tayeh, Jihad Bazlameet, Odai Abu Tayeh, Ammar Atyeh, Malek Hamdan, Mutasem Abu Tayeh, Riad Abu Diab, Karim Abu Tayeh, Mohammad Awwad, Ahmad Dandis, Ayoub Abbasi, Fathi Njadeh, Mousa Jaber, Abed Barbar, Ahmad Bazlameet, Amir Najdi, Ala’ Khatib, Nasim Al-Zeer and Mohammad Habash.

Isolations from the Old City of Jerusalem

The judge decided to release Rowaida Za’tari and Zhoor Za’tari on condition of isolation from the Old City of Jerusalem for 4 months; they are from Silwan.

Extensions of arrest

The lawyer added that the judge extended the arrest of Malek Hijazi until 10/10/2016, Mohammad Jamal Mahmoud until completing the legal procedures against him (a session was scheduled for him on 27/9/2016), Yousef Obeid until 27/9/2016, Yousef Falah and Seif Abdel Nabi until 2/8/2016, Naser Abu Khdeir and Mohammad Abu Khdeir and Anas Zayed until 29/7/2016. He also extended the arrest of Ziad Hijazi, Khalil Odeh,  Hasan Rweidi, Rabee’ Bashir, Mohammad Shallodi, Mansour Shyoukhi, Muntaser Shyoukhi, Jamal Da’na, Nabil Sider and Zakaria Bakri until 31/7/2016, Hamzeh Khweis until 7/8/2016 when the so-called conduct officer will release his report, Ata Awadallah and Mustafa Abu Hummos until 1/8/2016 knowing that the public prosecution submitted an indictment against Awadallah including charges of throwing stones and incitement on Facebook.

Lawyer Mahmoud also explained that the occupation authorities transferred Maisoon Halaweh to a mental hospital and extended her arrest until the end of July.

Isolations from Al-Aqsa Mosque

Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained that the occupation intelligence handed the head of public relations and media at the Islamic Awqaf department, Firas Dibs, an order to isolate him from Al-Aqsa Mosque for 6 months. They also handed Arafat Najib, Al-Aqsa guard, an order to isolate him from Al-Aqsa for 4 months.

The court also extended the arrest of Al-Aqsa guards, Hamzeh Nabali and Hamzeh Disi and an employee of the construction committee until Friday.
