Sentencing 4 children…extensions of arrest…releases
The District and Magistrate judges sentenced on Monday four Jerusalemite children.
Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the District judge sentenced the minor Qusai Dari for 13 months of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 6 months for three years, and also sentenced Mohammad Naser Abu Ghannam for 3 months of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 4 months for three years while Ibrahim Abu Ghannam was sentenced for 4 months in prison and a suspended probation of 4 months for three years; the lawyer explained he will appeal the sentences issued against the minors Abu Ghannam.
The judge also decided to impose a fine of 800 NIS on the child Adham Za’tari in addition to a suspended probation of three months.
Extending the arrest of minors
The judge extended the arrest of Mohammad Abbasi until 9/10/2016, Mohammad Abu Khdeir until 28/11/2016 (witnesses hearing session), Adham Obeidat until 13/12/2016, Malek Sroor and Tawfiq Abu Dheim and Nader Abdo until 7/12/12016.
Extending the arrest of young men
The Magistrate judge extended the arrest of Mouamar Darwish, Mohammad Haitham Mahmoud, Mohammad Totah, Mahmoud Obeid, Fayez Mheisen and Mohammad Fawwaz Joulani until 29/9/2016, Maher Hindi until 27/9/2016, Ahmad Rabay’a until completing the legal procedures against him, Salman Natsheh and Shadi Mheisen until 28/9/2016 and Mous’ab Atrash until 30/9/2016.
Releases
The judge decided to release the child Mohammad Alqam with a third-party bail of 5 thousand NIS and house-arrest for 5 days, and released Mohammad Alqam on condition of house-arrest for 5 days while Ali Bader was unconditionally released.
