Arresting 7 Jerusalemites…extensions of arrest…prison sentences…releases

The occupation forces arrested on Wednesday night seven Jerusalemite men from Silwan and the Old City of Jerusalem.

Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, explained that Musta’ribeen individuals (undercover police) and Special Forces arrested 3 young men from the neighborhood of Al-Thori in Silwan, they are: Khaled Maswadeh, Hashem Iskafi and Ma’moon Natsheh.

Abu Asab added that the force also arrested 3 young men from the Old City of Jerusalem among them Adam Shawish and Obada Najib.

On Wednesday afternoon, the forces arrested Ibrahim Abu Sneineh.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that occupation forces were deployed in the neighborhoods of Silwan on Wednesday night.

The Magistrate judge decided on Wednesday to release Mohammad Zidan Mahmoud (39) from the village of Esawyeh and extended the arrest of several others.

Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the Magistrate judge released Mohammad Zidan Mahmoud on condition of deportation from the village of Esawyeh until next Sunday and banning any welcoming ceremonies for 90 days in addition to a 2000-NIS bail.

Mohammad was arrested on Tuesday immediately after being released from Jalboo’ prison after serving a 15-year prison sentence; occupation police and intelligence personnel were waiting for him outside Jalboo’ prison.

The judge extended the arrest of Majd Darwish, Rawan Shyoukhi (21) and Midhat Obeid until Friday, Naser Obeid until 9/3/2017, Saleh Abu Asab until 26/2/2017, Amer Zidani and Anwar Al-Qaq until 2/3/2017, Malek Sroor until 20/4/2017, Ahmad Abu A’bed until 8/3/2017, Mohammad Joulani until 5/3/2017 and Mohammad Jodeh until 15/3/2017.

The judge sentenced Issa Mohammad Ali for 9 months of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 6 months for three years.
