Occupation forces storm into Al-Aqsa Mosque, assault worshippers and arrest two Palestinians

The occupation Special Forces stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque and assaulted Muslims that were inside Al-Aqsa and sprayed them with pepper gas; they arrested two of them.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that occupation forces raided Al-Aqsa Mosque through Dung Gate and allowed settlers to break-in and carry out a tour into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa (morning break-in session).

Witnesses said the forces surrounded the worshippers inside Al-Qibali Mosque and sprayed them with pepper gas and also fired rubber bullets inside the Mosque. They also assaulted and severely beat several worshippers and arrested two of them.

Witnesses also added that the forces ascended the roof of Al-Qibali Mosque and damaged a window and also seized several chairs from the courtyards of Al-Aqsa.

The forces assaulted the director of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Omar Kiswani, and pushed him.
