Esawyeh: Assaulting a family…seizing flags and a banner for freed prisoners
The occupation forces arrested a Jerusalemite from the village of Esawyeh after assaulting and beating him and his family members. The forces also raided the village and seized flags and a banner that was put up to welcome two freed prisoners that are originally from Esawyeh. .
Mohammad Abu Hummos, member of follow-up committee in the village of Esawyeh, explained to Wadi Hilweh Information Center that the forces assaulted Yoused Mheisen, his wife Fadia and daughter Salsabeel. They were pushed and hit while being near “Al-Salam amusement park” at the entrance of the village. The forces arrested Yousef and transferred him for interrogation at Salah Eddin Street police station.
Abu Hummos added that Fadia and her pregnant daughter were transferred to the hospital for treatment after suffering multiple bruises.
On the other hand, Abu Hummos explained that the occupation forces removed the welcoming banner of freed prisoner Nimer Mahmoud, and seized flags from the village that were put up to welcome the freed prisoners Mahmoud and Ata Mohammad Aweis.
Abu Hummos pointed out that the forces raided the cemetery of the village in a continuous violation of the sanctity of the dead.
