On charges of chanting “God is Great” and raising the Palestinian flag…the occupation forces arrest a woman, a young man and foreign worshippers from Al-Aqsa Mosque
On Friday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a Jerusalemite woman and five American worshipers and a young man as they were leaving Al-Aqsa Mosque after the Friday Prayer.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center learned from eyewitnesses that the Israeli occupation forces arrested five American worshipers immediately after they left Al-Aqsa Mosque, and seized their travel documents and turned them over for investigation to the police station.
They also arrested Amira Suleiman Al-Haj Khalil, 61.
Amira explained after her release in the evening that the police conditioned her to stay away from Al-Aqsa for two weeks.
She explained that the Israeli occupation forces arrested her immediately after exiting Al-Aqsa Mosque and took her to the police station, on charges of raising the Palestinian flag in addition to chanting “God is Great” at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
