Sentencing three young Jerusalemite men

The District judges sentenced last Thursday three young Jerusalemite men for actual imprisonment after convicting them of causing the death of a settler I 2015.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained that the District Court sentenced Mohammad Salah Abu Kaf (20) for 15 years in prison and a 50-thousand NIS fine, and Walid Firas Al-Atrash (20) for 13 and a half years in prison and a 50-thousand NIS fine while Ali Ibrahim Sabra (20) was sentenced for 9 and a half years and a 50-thousand NIS fine.

The case goes back to September 2015, when the Israeli occupation forces arrested the above mentioned young men and Abed Dwayyat and Mohammed Tawil. After several hearings, they were accused of "unintentional killing after throwing stones at the settler’s vehicle which then hit an electric pole, killing the settler."

The District Court sentenced Abed Dwayyat to 18 years in prison and Mohamed Tawil for 9 years.

Also, the occupation authorities suspended the residency and cut the social security benefit for the families of prisoners of Dwayyat, Abu Kaf and Al-Atrash, under the pretext of "breaching loyalty to the State of Israel."
