The injury of Mustafa Mughrabi with fractures and internal bleeding
The 19-year old Jerusalemite Mustafa Ibrahim Mughrabi was injured last Wednesday after a group of settlers attacked him near Al-Silsileh Gate Road in the Old City of Jerusalem.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said that its crews transported a young man to the Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital after being hit on the head; his condition was described as stable.
Witnesses reported that between 25 and 30 settlers insulted a group of young men in Al-Silsileh Gate after they had stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Witnesses added that the settlers beat the young man Mustafa Mughrabi, while beating his face with iron doors several times, where he was wounded in the face and lost consciousness afterwards.
Shadi Al-Mughrabi, Mustafa’s cousin, said the doctors told the family that Mustafa's health was stable and was under surveillance. Initial tests showed that he had nose fractures and internal bleeding.
Mughrabi said that the settlers assaulted his cousin while he was near his house, after they left Al-Aqsa Mosque, and beat him with an iron door and a glass bottle.
He added that the forces arrested the two young men Osama Halhuli and Hamouda after the settlers attacked his cousin.
