Sentencing the Jerusalemite prisoner Amani Hashim for 10 years in prison
The District Court sentenced on Sunday morning the Jerusalemite prisoner Amani Khaled Hashim for 10 years in prison.
Lawyer Khaldoun Nijem explained that the District judges sentenced Amani for 10 years in prison and 5000 NISNIS as a compensation to the soldier; she was convicted of running over a soldier at Qalandia military checkpoint.
Nijem added that the prosecution claimed that prisoner Hashim, a mother of two children, carried out the most dangerous run-over attack carried out by a female since 2015. After several hearings, the sentence was issued against her. She was arrested on 13/12/2016 at Qalandia checkpoint north of Jerusalem after multiple shots were fired towards her vehicle.
