The Magistrate judge decided on Saturday night to release nine Jerusalemites on condition of deportation from Bab Al-Rahmeh cemetery adjacent to the wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Khaldoun added that the police demanded that the detainees be removed from the cemetery of Bab Al-Rahmeh, Al-Aqsa Mosque and the southern gates of the Old City of Jerusalem for 120 days and pay a 1000-NIS bail each. After hearing the claims of the two parties, the judge decided to release the detainees only on condition that they be isolated from the cemetery. The locals demonstrated in the cemetery of Bab Al-Rahmeh, refusing to tamper with the graves of the dead, adding that there are recordings showing the pits and the digging in the graves and around them.
