Arrests in the city of Jerusalem
At dawn today, the Israeli occupation forces executed multiple arrests in the village of Esawyeh.
According to local sources in the village of Esawyeh, theIsraeli Intelligence personnel and occupation soldiers stormed the village at dawn, in conjunction with the time of the Suhur (when people start fasting at sunrise) and raided several houses and arrested five Jerusalemites after searching their homes and tampering with their contents.
The sources added that the detainees were: Mohammad Amer Mahmoud, Mohammad Jihad Alayan, Fayez Mheisen, Mohammed Zakaria Alayan and Wadi’ Hassan Alayan.
The residents of the village of Esawyeh explained that the Israeli forces deliberately provoke the people through the daily intrusions on the village. They stormed yesterday at the same time of the Evening Prayer when people were getting ready to break their fast for the day.
On the other hand, the Israeli occupation forces arrested two young men from the area of Damascus Gate. They are: Mohannad Qara'een, 14, and Ahmad Murad, 15.
