Conditionally releasing the director of Wadi Hilweh Information Center
The Israeli occupation forces released the director of Wadi Hilweh Information Center –Silwan, Jawad Siam, after detaining him for hours on charges of "organizing a sit-in in Salah Al-Din Street in Jerusalem".
Wadi Hilweh Information Center said that the Israeli police released Jawad Siam on condition of isolation from Salah Al-Din Street, Sultan Suleiman Street and Damascus Gate, and a ban on participating in any gathering in the city for two weeks, as well as signing a personal guarantee and a third-party bail of NIS 3 thousand.
Siam said that the Israeli police accused him of "organizing a sit-in in Salah Al-Din Street and participating in it."
The Israeli occupation forces arrested Siam while he was filming the sit-in that was organized against the arrest and detention of the governor of Jerusalem Adnan Gheith.
