Autopsy results - bullet in the back hit the main artery and lungs of Martyr Abbasi
On Monday afternoon, autopsy on the body of Martyr Qasem Mohammed Abbasi, 17, was completed at Abu Kbeir Medical Institute in the city of Jaffa.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center’s lawyer for Minors, Mohammed Mahmoud, said that autopsy was completed on the body of the Jerusalemite Martyr, which lasted several hours in the presence of the Palestinian doctor Ashraf Al-Qadi from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
Lawyer Mahmoud explained that the initial report of the autopsy revealed that the cause of death was a bullet that hit Qasem in the back and broke into the main artery and lungs.
lawyer Mahmoud added that calls are underway with the competent authorities to determine the date, time and place of delivery of the body of the Martyr.
Abbasi was shot by the Israeli occupation on Thursday evening at Beit El settlement north of the city of Al-Bireh. Abbasi family asked for an autopsy on the body of their son to investigate the circumstances of the execution and crime which also threatened the lives of three other members of his family that accompanied the Martyr on their way to the city of Nablus.
