Under-arrest- A youth is critically injured in Shu’fat refugee camp
Mohammad Issam Qawasmi was wounded by an undercover unit (Musta’ribeen) in Shu'fat refugee camp in Jerusalem.
Thaer Fasfoos, spokesman of Fatah movement in Jerusalem, said that Mohammad Issam Qawasmi was shot witha live bullet in the back during his pursuit by Musta’ribeen individuals “undercover police" in the area of Ras Khamis in the refugee camp.
He added that the bullet penetrated Mohammad and reached his stomach, describing the injury as critical.
Fasfoos said the Musta’ribeen followed a group of youths and one of them opened fired.
He added that the youths had taken the injured boy to the medical center in Shu'fat refugee camp and then he was transferred to Hadassah Hospital in Esawyeh.
Fasfoos said that the occupation forces stormed the place where Mohammad was being treated and handcuffed him with the bed. He was detained before entering the operating room.
