A decision to prevent the burial of Martyr Samah Mubarak in the “numbers” graves
February 14, 2019

The Israeli Supreme Court issued on Thursday a decree banning the burial of the Martyr Samah Mubarak in the “numbers” graves.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center’s lawyer for Minors, Mohammed Mahmoud, said that he filed a petition to the Israeli Supreme Court on Thursday to demand the releasing of her body to her parents. The court issued a decision to prevent the army and police from burying her body in the “numbers” graves until the hearing, which was appointed on Monday afternoon to decide on the petition.

Mubarak was martyred at the end of last month after being shot dead by the Israeli occupation soldiers at Z’ayem checkpoint east of Jerusalem, under the pretext of attempting to carry out a stabbing attack.
