Occupation authorities demolish two apartments in Beit Hanina
February 20, 2019

The occupation’s bulldozers demolished on Wednesday morning two apartments in Beit Hanina, north of Jerusalem.

The apartments are owned by Tayseer Muhtaseb and his son Shadi. They were built in 2012 and are home to 10 people, including 4 children, and their total area is about 120 square meters.

The family explained that the Israeli municipality issued a decision to demolish the two apartments in 2015, and imposed a fine of NIS 40 thousand shekels on the family, and after the postponement and freezing of the demolition for several years, the municipality issued on Tuesday a new demolition order and implemented it this morning.

Municipal crews and occupation forces stormed the building after completely surrounding it and then demolished it.

The occupation’s bulldozers also demolished a horses' ridge.
