Prayers at Al-Rahma Gate…arresting three children…isolations from Al-Aqsa
February 20, 2019

Hundreds of Jerusalemites prayed on Wednesday at Al-Rahma Gate, inside Al-Aqsa Mosque, demanding the reopening of the closed-door of Al-Rahma Gate building which has been closed for years, while the children managed to break the closed iron gate leading to Al-Rahma Gate square and the building.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained that hundreds of young men, women and children prayed the Noon, Afternoon, Evening and Night prayers at Al-Rahma Gate. They organized a sit-in between the Evening and Nightprayers and chanted songs and chants of God is Great.

The occupation forces stormed the squares of Al-Aqsa mosque before the Evening prayer and even after the Night prayer, and got stationed at Al-Rahma Gate area and took pictures of the worshipers.

On the other hand, the occupation forces arrested Hanadi Halawani after storming her house in Wadi al-Joz neighborhood. Khadija Khweis was also summoned and the intelligence service at Al-Qishla police station informed them that they were prevented from entering Al-Aqsa until 26/2/2019.

They said the decision to isolate them from al-Aqsa would end next Friday.

The Israeli occupation forces also isolated 15 young men and women from Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City of Jerusalem for 60 days, except for those who were residents of the Old City (they were only isolated from entering Al-Aqsa). The police also extended the arrest of Mohammad Shalabi and Mohammad Abu Shusha. The young men were arrested yesterday during a raid on Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The occupation forces also arrested three children from the village of Al-Tur. They are: Majd Hirbawi, Nizar Taha and Ammar Taha.
