Arrests in the village of Esawyeh

The Israeli occupation forces arrested three Palestinians in the village of Esawyeh in Jerusalem on Tuesday morning.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center, quoting Mohammed Abu Hummos, a member of the follow-up committee in the village, said that the occupation forces and the intelligence personnel stormed several houses in the village and arrested 5 people.

He added that the occupation forces have stepped up arrests against the residents of the village over the past 24 hours. They also broke into the streets, fired sound grenades and rubber bullets, and distributed demolition notices and summonses to follow up with the municipality.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center’s lawyer for the minors, Mohammed Mahmoud, said that the forces arrested: Mohammed Ma’moon Mheisen, 15, Abdul Rahman Ahmed Abu Rayaleh, 14, Mohannad Ma'moon Abu Asab, 15, Adnan Marwan Abu Rayaleh, 21, and Jamil Hisham Nasser 21.
