Assaulting and arresting Al-Aqsa guard and wounding him
Al-Aqsa Mosque guard Mohannad Idris was wounded in the head after the Israeli occupation forces assaulted him, while dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Firas Dibs, Public Relations and Information Officer at the Islamic Endowments Department, said that the Israeli occupation forces assaulted Al-Aqsa Mosque guard Mohannad Idris, wounding him in the head, and he was taken to Al-Maqased Hospital for treatment.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli occupation forces assaulted Idris after arresting him. A police officer hit him from behind on his head with iron cuffs. During this, police assaulted a number of guards who were at the scene to check on their injured colleague, and were able to take him for treatment.
The Israeli occupation forces arrested Nitham Abu Rammouz from Bab Al-Rahma chapel in Al-Aqsa, and took him for investigation.
