Arrests from Al-Aqsa Mosque and storming Bab Al-Rahma chapel
The occupation forces arrested five Jerusalemites from Al-Aqsa Mosque and its gates, and the occupation forces stormed Bab Al-Rahma chapel and confiscated banners hung on its doors on the first anniversary of its reopening after it was closed for 16 years.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center stated that the occupation forces stormed Bab Al-Rahma chapel and itscourtyards and ascended its roof immediately after the Friday prayer, and vandalized balloons and confiscated a banner hanging on its roof reading, "Bab Al-Rahma Chapel", and confiscated other signs that were hung on its doors, and the occupation forces stormed the chapel, searched itand confiscated curtains from it.
The center stated that the occupation forces arrested 5 Palestinians from the courtyards of Al-Aqsa and at its gates.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center’s lawyer, Razan Jubeh, explained that the occupation forces transferred the detainees to Al-Qishla police station in the Old City of Jerusalem.
The lawyer added that the detainees were: Yusuf Faqih, Suhaib Taha, Yacoub Salameh, Ibrahim Hab Rumman, and Fadel Abu Sneineh.
Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces arrested a young man for raising the Algerian and Palestinian flags in Al-Aqsa.
At dawn, the forces attacked the worshipers during their presence in the area of Bab Hutta, and chased them after the end of the Dawn prayer, and confiscated "chocolate and coffee" from them.
