Jerusalem- Arrests and assaults…confiscating goods

On Thursday afternoon, clashes broke out between the occupation forces and the youth in Shu’fat refugee camp in Jerusalem, while the occupation forces attacked two young men in Silwan, and continued to deploy in the streets and neighborhoods of Issawiya.

Shu’fat refugee camp

Eyewitnesses told Wadi Hilweh Information Center that the occupation forces stormed the camp, which led to the outbreak of confrontations with the youths.

On Thursday, the occupation municipality confiscated vegetables and fruits from the street vendors in the camp.

Silwan

The occupation forces arrested the two young men, Eyad Abu Sbeih and Ahmad Abbasi, after they were severely beaten on Al-Ein Street in Silwan.

The center also learned that the occupation forces transferred Abbasito treatment after detaining him in Salah Al-Din Street police station in Jerusalem, because of various injuries.

The court extended the arrest of Baha Abu Tayeh and Nasrallah Al-A’war until Friday, knowing that they were arrested from their homes in the village.

The police released Yazan Siam on condition of house-arrest for 6 days, and a cash guarantee of 1,500 shekels.

Siam suffered various bruises and injuries, especially in the face as he was severely beaten while being arrested from the gas station along with Nour Asfour and Mohammad Awwad.

Issawiya

The occupation authorities continued to deploy in the streets of the village and at its entrances, and arrested one of the youths in the evening, and Nadim Obeid in the afternoon hours.

The information center learned that the police had issued fines for young Jerusalemites on the pretext of violating the instructions and procedures to prevent the spread of corona virus.
