A series of arrests in Jerusalem

The occupation forces launched, at dawn today, Tuesday, a series of arrests in the city of Jerusalem.

Lawyer Mohammed Mahmoud stated that the forces arrested 7 Jerusalemites from the Old City of Jerusalem, on the pretext of "participating in the reception ceremony of the activist, Nihad Zghayyar," who was released on the seventh of this month, and was deported from Jerusalem for two weeks.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center learned that the occupation forces arrested: Ahmed Abu Ghazaleh, Mohammad Julani, Abdullah Julani, Adham Za’tari and Raed Zghayyar.

The forces also stormed the Al-Bashiti family’s home, and delivered a summon for investigation to their son Hisham, and stormed the Zghayyar family’s home and delivered a summon for investigation to Nidal Zghayyar.

The forces arrested Mohammad Dakkaq from Silwan, and summoned his brother Mousa for investigation.

Also, they arrested Ali Jaber from the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan.

In the morning hours, the occupation police arrested Hamzeh Nimer, a guard at Al-Aqsa Mosque, from the area of the Dome of the Rock, and transferred him for investigation at Al-Silsileh police station.
