On the first day of Al-Fiter Holiday…suppressing and assaulting worshippers at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque
On Sunday, the occupation forces suppressed worshipers before and after the Eid prayer in Al-Ghazali Square –Lions Gate- one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center stated that dozens of the occupation forces suppressed the worshipers and beat them severely and pushed them, especially after the end of the sermon and the Eid prayer.
The center added that the forces arrested Dr. AbdelMughni Al-Omari and the youth, Riyad Al-Rajabi, after they arrested and detained them for several hours in the area of Lions Gate and Al-Qishla police station.
The worshipers stated that the occupation forces started assaulting them before the Eid prayer during their attempt to cross the iron barriers that were placed at the entrance to Al-Ghazali Square. The forces prevented them and assaulted some of them by beating. After the end of the sermon, the assault continued and a large number of forces stormed the area and evicted the worshippers by force.
