Arrests in Silwan…including the mother of a prisoner

The occupation forces launched, at dawn today, Wednesday, a series of arrests in the village of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, targeting the mother of a prisoner, his brother, and 4 boys.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center / Silwan explained that the occupation forces and their intelligence services stormed the neighborhoods of Silwan, after spreading in its streets and main junctions, and then raided several houses and carried out arrests.

The center added in a statement that the occupation forces stormed the house of AbdelMin’emAl-A’war, who has been detained since the end of last month and is under investigation in the cells of Al-Maskobyeh. The forces arrested his wife, Iman and his son, Jibreel.

The center added that Mrs. Iman was scheduled to visit her son, Mohammed, who is in the Negev desert prison.

The center also added that among the detainees were 4 boys between the ages of 15-17 years: Sultan Mahran Shweiki, Amer Walid Abdel Razek and his brother Adam, and Mahdi Khdour. After their arrest, they were subjected to physical search outside their homes after making them stand against the wall.
