The occupation municipality forced Fawwaz Abdo to self-demolish his house in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber, under the pretext of building without a permit.
Abdo proceeded to empty his house and demolish it, after the municipality rejected his attempt to freeze the demolition decision for an additional period. The Abdo family consists of 6 individuals and became homeless, and will search for a new home for themselves.
Abdo explained that he built the house 5 years ago, with an area of 100 square meters, and the municipality pursued him since and issued a demolition order under the pretext of building without a permit, and imposed a financial fine of 60 thousand shekels on him, which he is still paying until this day.
