Arresting 8 Jerusalemites during the suppression of a sit-in in support of the Prophet, peace be upon him

On Thursday, the occupation forces arrested 8 Jerusalemites, from Damascus Gate area, during the suppression of a sit-in in support of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, after settlers insulted him during the "flags dance".

The occupation forces attacked Jerusalemites, during a sit-in in the Damascus Gatearea, by beating, arresting, spraying wastewater and throwing sound grenades towards them, and chased them towards the nearby streets.

The occupation forces also attacked the young men by spraying pepper gas at them.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center’s lawyer, Firas Al-Jabrini, and local sources explained that the forces arrested: Dirgham Jbour, Adham Akari, Youssef Labban, Mustafa Kalbouneh, Youssef Za’rour, Taha Mheisen, Adnan Shehadeh, and Tariq Maswadeh.

Eyewitnesses stated that the occupation forces beat and gassed the detainees during the arrest.
