Arrests in the city of Jerusalem
On Monday, the occupation forces arrested 5 Jerusalemites from the town of Beit Hanina, north of Jerusalem.
Amjad Abu Asab, head of the Committee for the Families of Jerusalemite Prisoners and Detainees, explained that the forces arrested Salameh Ghaith, Ahmed Ghaith, Yasser Ghaith, Mohammad Abu Ta’a and Bahjat Masood.
Late Sunday evening, the Musta’ribeen unit (undercover police)arrested two young men from Shu’fat refugee camp, and severely beat them.
On the other hand, violent confrontations erupted in the town of Issawiya, and the forces fired gas canisters and rubber bullets into the town, while the youths responded by throwing fireworks.
